Sri Bhagavanta Swamigal and Dayananda Swamigal of Cuddalore

Sri Bhagavanta Swamigal and Dayananda Swamigal were two great saints who lived in the later part of the 19th century in Cuddalore in TamilNadu. Sri Bhagavanta Swamigal was a great devotee of the divine mother and Sri Dayananda swamigal was a devotee of Lord Murugan. Both of them guided the lives of people in and around cuddalore and attained Maha Samadhi at Pudupalayam, Cuddalore on the banks of the river Gedilam.Sri Bhavantha Swamigal was even mentioned by Sri Ramana Maharishi to devotees visting from this area.

Today, the Mahasamadhi temple stands as a place of peace and Tranquility. Annadanam is performed very often and the shrines radiate energy. One must definitely visit this place to experience the peace.
