Sri Sivan Sir – Life History,Books and articles

Sri Sadasiva Shastrigal (who was popularly known as Sivan Sar) was the younger brother of the great Paramacharya of Kanchi Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Swamigal.Sivan Sir lived the life of a yogi. He rarely ate and almost drank no water.

Sir’s magnus opus has been the book titled “Yenipadigalil Manthargal”. As the name suggests, he mentions different categories of people and their sins or merits and how to lead a life of wisdom and peace.In this book he talks in detail about the unknown past History of India. He also writes about the real history of several countries – Egypt, Italy,Bulgaria,Greece etc. which has been masked. He describes the various deities worshipped in the past and their relevance.

He also talks about various ancient mystics and kings.He explores the link between Hinduism,Paganism, Wicca and various ancient religions and establishes the common base between all of them. For a person who has never travelled outside India, it is simply beyond imagination on the amount information he provides in this book.  He also mentions some starling facts and predictions on the future of the world.He covers the life history of several saints/kings/mystics across religions in his book.
